2. Silestone Quartz is comprised of 93% Quartz and 7% pigments and resigns. It comes in a variety of color options and has become a popular alternative to granite. Quartz slabs are non-porous therefore Silestone Quartz slabs are stain-resistant. Silestone offers the unique combination of built-in MicrobanŽ antimicrobial product protection, National Sanitation Foundation certification and GREENGUARD indoor air quality certification. Microban protection inhibits the growth of microbes such as odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew.
